My 404 page had a float that made the error message show up inside the footer on mobile
I was inspecting it in devtools during a demo and realized a missing clearfix was making the entire layout shift around. Has anyone else found a bug like that right before a client call?

Gotta love those "oh crap" moments right before you're about to show something to a client. I've had a similar thing happen with a sticky header that decided to eat half the page content on a tablet. The floating error message sounds like one of those bugs you stare at for an hour before realizing it's literally one CSS property missing. Devtools is great and all but sometimes it feels like it hides the stupidest mistakes right where you least expect them. Hope the client didn't notice, or if they did, you had a quick save ready.

And yeah @the_piper, the worst part is when you finally find the bug and it's something dumb like a missing semicolon that took you 45 minutes to spot. I legit had a client watch me refresh the page 12 times while I frantically toggled classes to hide the mess.
