A dev on my team said my media queries were doing the work of furniture movers, so I counted them
Last month a coworker reviewed my stylesheet and told me I had 23 separate breakpoints for one landing page, and every single one of them was pushing things around instead of just letting the layout breathe. I counted the fixed widths in my container class and found 14 of them, which explained why the pricing cards looked fine at 1280px but turned into a sideways mess at 1024px. So I ripped it all out and used flex-wrap with min-width on the cards, and now the thing just sorts itself out without me babysitting it. She was right, my old CSS was basically a game of Jenga waiting for someone to resize a window. Anybody else got a breakpoint graveyard they keep adding to?
