TIL that grid-template-areas breaks when you use the same name twice in one row
Spent 4 hours last Tuesday fighting a dashboard layout in Columbus where my sidebar kept landing under the main content, and it turned out I had typed the same area name in two columns of the same row. The browser just silently picked one and the whole grid went sideways, no error in dev tools at all. Has anyone else hit this, and is there a linter or trick to catch duplicate area names before you lose a whole afternoon?
The "browser just silently picked one and the whole grid went sideways" part hits way too close to home, been there with a product page last month. Ngl I just keep my area names short and scan the template string by eye now, but a linter would be nice if anyone's got one.
