Subgrid support hit a snag on Safari 18.1

I was rebuilding a product card layout last Friday and found out Safari 18.1 still doesn't handle subgrid inside nested grids the same way Chrome does. The row gaps collapsed and the cards ended up misaligned by about 8px, which drove me crazy until I tested it in two browsers. Has anyone else hit this and just fall back to explicit grid-template-rows instead?
