PSA: the dude on YouTube told me to set my columns in px and my whole card grid broke on a laptop
A guy in a 12 minute grid tutorial said to just hardcode grid-template-columns to like 300px 300px 300px, so of course I did that on a 5 card dashboard for a side project. Looked perfect on my monitor in Phoenix, then my buddy opened it on his little 13 inch laptop and the third card was hanging off the screen with a scrollbar. Swapped it to repeat(auto-fit, minmax(280px, 1fr)) and it just works at every size now, took me 2 minutes. What gets me is he never once said the word "responsive" the whole video. Has anyone else gotten burned by a tutorial that skips the one line that actually matters?
