My designer buddy called out my grid gaps being inconsistent

Was showing him a dashboard I did for a local bakery and he pointed out my gutter spacing was all over the place. I had like 12px here and 18px there without even noticing. Has anyone else had a fresh pair of eyes catch something dumb you've been staring at for hours?

The "fresh pair of eyes" thing gets me every time. It's like when I've been staring at a cluttered counter and don't see the mess until a friend walks in.

Started using a grid overlay plugin in Figma after I did the same thing. Set it to 8px base and everything snaps into place now.
