I finally stopped using grid for my whole gym site after a Denver meetup last week
Last week at a Denver meetup, a guy showed his portfolio built almost all in flexbox and it loaded way faster on my old phone than my grid-heavy layout. I have been forcing grid onto every section for 2 years, even simple rows of cards where flex would have been 4 lines of CSS. Is it just me, or does flexbox win for one-dimensional stuff and grid only really pay off for full page layouts?
