Spent $60 on a CSS animation library and it was a total waste
I bought this fancy library last week thinking it would save me hours on complex scroll animations. Instead, it locked me into this rigid system where I couldn't tweak anything without digging through minified code. Three days later I went back to writing plain CSS keyframes and got way more control for free. The library's built-in easing curves also looked nothing like the demo videos, so my hero section ended up janky. Has anyone else had better luck with those pre-built animation packs or am I just picking the wrong ones?

Count me as someone who actually gets value from those libraries when my client is on a tight deadline. I dropped $80 on a different pack last month and it let me prototype a full landing page in two hours, easing curves included. You might have just picked a bad one aimed at beginners rather than a proper toolkit for real dev work.

Nails it, the right library saves hours of frustration over garbage beginner packs.
