I finally got a whole card layout working with one grid line at a code jam in Cleveland
I was at a small CSS code jam in Cleveland last month and my card layout kept breaking every time the text got long. A guy next to me leaned over and showed me how grid-template-columns with auto-fit and minmax handles it in like 3 lines, no media queries needed. I tried it right there in the browser console and the cards just snapped into place at every width, it was kind of a rush. Spent the ride home rewriting my old layout and cut around 40 lines of flex hacks out of it. Curious if anyone here leans on auto-fit for card grids or if you still reach for flex-wrap first.
