Dropped $500 on a CSS grid cheat sheet course in 2019 and now I just use flexbox for everything
Back in 2019 I paid around $500 for a course that promised to teach me every grid trick and layout hack so I could stop fighting with float and position, and it did help me build a 12 column photo gallery without a single media query. The thing is, five years later I barely touch grid at all, flexbox handles 90 percent of my work and the course just sits there like an old flip phone. Does anyone else still reach for the older layout method even when the newer stuff is technically better?
