Wasted $60 on a fancy CSS animation library before I learned the basics

I spent $60 on a pre-built CSS animation library last month thinking it would make my designs look pro. Turns out I didn't even understand keyframes well enough to tweak the settings, so it just sat there. Has anyone else bought a tool too early and regretted it?

Bought a $200 WordPress theme back when I thought that was all it took to make a site look good. Spent more time deleting the bloated demo content than actually learning how CSS selectors work. That theme is still sitting in my account like a digital paperweight. At least your $60 mistake will teach you a cheap lesson compared to what some of us paid.
