Spent 2 hours fighting a 47 layer gradient blob, then found the conic-gradient trick and rebuilt it in 15 minutes
I was trying to make this big round aura thing with stacked radial gradients and the banding looked awful on my laptop at 50 percent zoom. Then I swapped the whole thing for one conic-gradient with a few hard stops and a blur filter, and somehow it came out smoother and loaded faster than the messy version. Is there a rule for when conic beats radial, or is it just whatever renders clean that day?
