Hot take: That CSS mountain scene I posted last week got roasted for bad shadows
Someone pointed out my gradients were all going the same direction across layers, making the light source look like it was coming from three different places. Fixed it by matching all shadow angles to a single 45 degree sun position and now it actually pops.

That same light source mistake happens in conversations too when people's stories don't line up.
