Heads up on CSS gradient banding in large shapes
I spent like 4 hours yesterday trying to figure out why my sunset background had these ugly color stripes across it. Turns out the browser just can't handle smooth gradients over big areas without some extra tricks. Anyone found a solid fix besides just adding more color stops?

Man I went through the exact same thing with a big hero section background last week, drove me nuts. Adding tiny bits of noise to the gradient helped hide the banding more than just piling on stops did.
