Bought a CSS art preset pack on Etsy and it was just stolen code from CodePen
I dropped $45 on what was advertised as a premium CSS art starter kit with like 50 different landscape templates. Thought it would save me hours of coding time for my next project. Turned out every single file was just copied directly from free CodePen pens with the author names stripped off. I recognized one of them because I had actually favorited it months ago from a developer in Brazil. The gradients were broken, the animations didn't loop properly, and half the comments were still in Portuguese. Total waste of money and I felt stupid for not checking the previews more carefully. Has anyone else gotten burned by buying CSS resources online? What places actually sell quality stuff that isn't just ripped off?
