Paid $18 for a used copy of The Writer's Prompt Book from a library sale in Tacoma and it broke my blank page habit
It was the 1995 edition with the cracked spine, and flipping through it one night I noticed the prompts were all specific: write a scene where a character lies about a phone call, things like that. The oddly specific ones get me going faster than the open ended stuff I used to pin on my wall. Now I keep it by the coffee maker and grab one whenever I stall. Curious what single prompt source has worked best for you all, even a free site or a deck of cards.
