My writing prompt folder just hit 500 ideas and I feel weird about it

I always thought having a huge list was the goal, but seeing that number made me realize I've been collecting instead of creating. It's like my own little graveyard of 'what ifs' that I never start. Has anyone else felt stuck by their own big collection?

Know that feeling, my notes app is a museum of good intentions. Terry's math is right, but my follow-through is terrible. Guess we're both just curators of unwritten stories.

Actually, that collection sounds like a full toolbox, not a graveyard. Having all those ideas ready means you never have to start from a blank page, which is the hardest part. It's a huge advantage for when you finally pick one to build.
