My current WIP started from a weird dream I had 2 weeks ago

I woke up at 3am last Tuesday in Austin after dreaming about a librarian who could only read books backwards. I jotted it down on my phone and now I'm 12 chapters deep into this weird fantasy story. Has anyone else ever had a random dream turn into a whole project like that? Im curious how you turned it into something coherent.

Flip that librarian into reading backwards or just the books themselves?

Wait, are we talking about literally flipping a librarian like a pancake or flipping the physical books around on the shelf? I had a buddy @felix488 who once worked in a library and they caught him alphabetizing the graphic novels by the color of the spine. Dude said it made the shelves look prettier, but nobody could find anything for a week. The head librarian almost had a stroke when she saw a whole row of green books next to a row of red ones. Took them three days to re-shelve everything back to normal. Point is, messing with how stuff is organized just creates more work for everyone involved.
