I still have my first notebook of writing prompts from 2009
Back then, I'd just open a random page and scribble a story by hand, maybe one a month. Now, I keep a folder on my phone with over 200 prompt ideas and use a timer app to write for 15 minutes every morning. The switch happened around 2015 when my job got busier and I needed a faster, more organized system. I miss the feel of pen on paper, but this way I actually write more. Does anyone else have a specific app or method that helps you actually use your prompts?

That switch to a faster system in 2015 makes total sense. I read a blog post once that said the best method is the one you actually stick with, even if it's less romantic than pen and paper.

That blog post sounds spot on. What was the tipping point for you in 2015, like a specific project where the old system just broke down? I'm always curious about the actual moment people decide to change their whole workflow.
