Another writer's outline made me delete my whole first chapter
Crit group in Portland last Tuesday, someone shared their 3-page outline and suddenly my 150-page draft felt like a rambling mess. Their plot had 4 clear turning points, mine had maybe 2 that actually moved things. Has anyone else scrapped major work after hearing a prompt response that just clicked better?
