Why does everyone think bigger studios mean better work?

I keep seeing people on here talk about renting out massive warehouse spaces with 20ft ceilings like that's the secret to making good stuff. I work out of a 200 sq ft room behind my buddy's garage in Nashville and my videos have way more views than most of these big studio folks. Last month I helped a friend shoot a music video in his actual living room with just two LED panels and it got 50k plays in a week. Anyone else feel like the gear and space obsession is just a way to avoid actually having ideas?

But I gotta ask, do you think there's a certain type of creator who actually needs a bigger space to make their ideas work? Like someone filming a band with a full drum kit or doing physical comedy that needs room to move? I've seen videos from tiny rooms that look amazing, but I've also seen stuff from big studios that looks dead because they just threw money at it. What kind of video do you think actually benefits from having that extra square footage?
