Was dead set against renting studio space until that week in August with 3 back-to-back deadlines

I always worked from home. Thought renting a studio was a waste of money. Then last August hit. Had to finish a pitch deck for a client in Chicago, a video edit for a local band, and a set of product photos all due in the same week. My dining room table was a disaster. Roommate kept asking when dinner was. AC broke for two days. Took the plunge and rented a desk at a shared studio in town for $35 a day. Got everything done in 4 days without losing my mind. Now I book it whenever I have more than one big project due. Has anyone else found a specific trigger that finally pushed them to get out of their home setup?

Had a buddy who swore he'd never leave his home office. @tara345 said the same thing probably. But anyway, my friend Mark. He does freelance graphic design. His girlfriend walked into his spare bedroom office during a zoom call. She was in a towel. Right behind him. Client saw everything. He signed up for a shared space the same afternoon. Never looked back. Some triggers are just too real to ignore.

Well, that seems like a lot of drama over a couple deadlines.
