TIL my $300 drawing tablet was worth every penny after I dropped it on concrete
Back in 2019 I was freelancing out of a tiny studio in Portland and saved up $300 for a Wacom Intuos. I used it for two years straight on logo sketches, storyboards, whatever clients threw at me. Then I knocked it off my desk onto a concrete floor and the screen cracked, but the pen and surface still worked fine for another three years. I only replaced it this spring when the driver finally quit on me. Anyone else still running old gear way past when it should've died?
