The client's feedback made no sense until I saw their office

Last Wednesday I finally visited a studio that's been sending us confusing notes for two months. Their art director works from a laptop with a broken brightness setting, so every color we sent looked washed out to them. I pulled up our shared palette on their screen and it was like a whole different project. We resynced our displays and reapproved everything in one sitting. Has anyone else hit a weird hardware quirk that explained bad feedback?
