That 'quick' animation fix that ate my whole Friday afternoon

I thought I could tweak a logo reveal in After Effects before lunch. 6 hours later I was still fighting with the graph editor because the easing kept looking robotic. Finally just keyframed it manually frame by frame around 4pm and that did the trick. Has anyone else found a faster way to get natural motion without killing half a day?

A whole day on a logo reveal? You could have just used a bounce expression and been done in 10 minutes, easy. Scripts and presets exist for exactly this kind of thing, no need to fight the graph editor. Manual frame by frame is a wild choice when there are tools that do smooth easing automatically with zero fuss. Maybe the problem is you're overcomplicating a simple task.
