Studio rent in Brooklyn jumped 40% and I almost missed it
My landlord sent the new lease renewal and I skimmed it like a dummy. The base rent went from $2,200 to $3,080 a month, that's a 40% spike starting next quarter. I only caught it because my accountant flagged the escrow line on the statement. Anyone else dealing with landlord math that gets buried in the fine print?
