Realized my mood boards were just pinterest hoarding after a client call
Spent 6 months building these giant mood boards for a branding project thinking more images = better storytelling. Then the client asked me what the third image on slide 4 meant and I had no answer, that's when it hit me. Anyone else have that moment where your process looks legit but is actually just decoration?

Ha, I once showed a client a mood board that was literally just 40 pictures of the same shade of beige and called it "texture research." They nodded along and I felt like a genius until I realized I had no idea what any of it meant either.
