Our 3D printer jammed at 2am before a pitch, we fixed it with a paperclip
Last Tuesday we had a big client demo in Portland and the printer clogged right at the filament feed, like 2 hours before we needed the part. I spent 45 minutes taking the whole hotend apart and it was just a tiny piece of plastic stuck in the gear, not even a jam. A bent paperclip from my desk cleared it out in 30 seconds after all that panic. We got the prototype done with 20 minutes to spare and the client never knew. Has anyone else had a cheap fix save a studio deadline when the fancy tools fail you?
