Hit 200 storyboard frames for one commercial, lost count at the end

Was pacing a 30 second spot for a local bakery last week and somehow produced 200 panels by Thursday, way past the 150 I planned. The funny part is my rough sketches outnumbered the clean ones 3 to 1 but the client loved the raw versions more. Has anyone else found clients respond better to unfinished boards than polished ones?
