Everyone says you need a dedicated render node, but my old gaming PC handled a 4K animation just fine...

Wait, was my old PC just uniquely terrible? I had a laptop that would sound like a jet engine just opening a browser tab. Trying to render a simple scene in Blender felt like asking it to solve cold fusion. It would just give up and freeze for minutes at a time. I guess I just got used to that being normal!
