Compared two editing programs for my tiny studio project last month

I spent a week bouncing between Resolve and Premiere for a 3 minute video my buddy wanted for his band's new single. Resolve handled the color grading way smoother on my old PC, no crashes or anything. Anyone else find themselves switching software based on the job size or is it just me being picky?

Oh man tell me about it... I grabbed a bunch of free samples at the store last week and my wife looked at me like I lost my mind. She's always saying stuff like "you don't need that" or "it's just sugar packets" but hey, free is free right? I swear some people just don't appreciate the little wins in life. Every time I get something for nothing I feel like I'm beating the system even if it's just a handful of ketchup packets.
