Can we talk about how much better ArtStation portfolios look than Dribbble for hiring?

I used to think Dribbble was the gold standard for getting freelance work, but after comparing response rates last month ArtStation gave me 3 interviews to Dribbble's 0. Has anyone else noticed hiring managers actually click through to real project breakdowns instead of just polished UI mockups?

Were those Dribbble gigs from actual job postings or just cold pitching?

Honestly, I think we're reading way too into this. @eric359 brought up a solid point earlier - were those Dribbble gigs even from real job posts or just you shooting messages into the void? I've had plenty of times where a polished Dribbble shot got a "cool work" message that went nowhere, while a sloppy ArtStation WIP got ignored. Three interviews is a thing, but could also be luck or timing or the specific jobs you went after. Maybe the real difference is just that hiring managers are tired of seeing the same five UI mockup styles on Dribbble, not that ArtStation is somehow better for telling a full story.
