TIL that a load chart is only as good as your boom angle math
I spent about three hours on a lift in Gary, Indiana, trying to figure out why my chart said I was good but the crane felt light on the front, and it turned out I'd read the angle off the wrong side of the indicator by about four degrees. Has anybody else had a chart fight them like that, and what tipped you off?
