Saw a crane lift a whole house in one piece on the news
I was watching a local news report from Portland last night and they showed a crew moving a two-story house. The whole thing was lifted by a mobile crane and set down on a new foundation across the street. The reporter said the house weighed over 80 tons. I always knew we could lift heavy stuff, but seeing a complete house in the air was something else. What's the biggest single lift you've ever been a part of?

Biggest single lift? We had to move a 60-ton industrial boiler out of a plant last year. The real trick isn't the weight, it's the balance. You have to find the exact pick points on a structure that wasn't meant to fly.

Sounds like a lot of fuss over some metal.
