Lifted a 20-ton AC unit last Thursday and my swing brake let go mid-turn.

Load started drifting about 5 feet before I caught it with the tagline crew, anyone else had swing brake failures on older Grove cranes?

Three guys on my shift almost got cooked by a faulty pressure valve last year. The thing blew a seal right as we were doing a morning line check and hot oil sprayed everywhere for maybe two seconds. @ray210 you know that moment when everyone just freezes and stares at each other? We were lucky it was a small leak but it could have been a lot worse. Maintenance had flagged that valve the week before too but someone decided to push it to the next shutdown. Now we got a rule that any flagged equipment gets pulled same day no excuses.
