I finally figured out why my boom angle readings were always off
Been fighting with a Grove RT550 for months where the load chart never lined up with what I was lifting. Turns out the boom angle sensor was loose by about 2 degrees - a $5 bolt saved me a $600 service call. Anybody else ever chase a ghost like that only to find something dumb simple?

Did you put the bolt back in nice and tight or just snug? I swear half the problems I run into are because somebody forgot that parts need to actually be bolted down and not just "resting there." My favorite was a telehandler that kept throwing tilt codes until I found the sensor wire was just kinda twisted together with electrical tape.

Do you ever notice how the universe just kinda works like that? The big complicated problems usually come down to the simplest dumbest things, like a loose bolt or a bad connection. It's almost like the fancier everything gets, the more it relies on the boring basics holding it together.
