DAE have a snack turn into a job site hazard?

Honestly, I tried eating these new fiber bars to help with digestion during long shifts. Tbh, they worked a bit too well, and I had to rush out of the cab mid-lift. Ngl, I left the crane running on idle, which was dumb, but nature called hard. My spotter had to cover for me while I sprinted to the port-a-potty. Now I test new foods on my days off, not during critical lifts. It was embarrassing, but the crew still ribs me about it.

Think about how your gut health is basically a safety check on site. If your digestion goes wrong, it can mess up everything. I've seen guys ignore this until it's too late. Your story shows we need to talk about this MORE. It's not just embarrassing, it's a RISK. Companies should have better breaks or something.

Yeah... I used to just tough it out and think it was weak to need a break for that. But last winter I saw a guy on my crew get dizzy and almost drop a beam because he was fighting a stomach thing all morning. That was the wake-up call for me. It's not about being tough, it's about not being a danger to yourself or the guy next to you. Now I speak up if I need five minutes, no shame.

My cousin's crew had a guy pass out from ignoring bathroom needs last summer. You're right Rodriguez.quinn, it turns a personal issue into a real team safety problem fast.
