Went from hand-coded SVGs to a font tool for my icon set, honestly relieved
After 4 months of manually adjusting every SVG path for my travel app icons, I finally tried a font editor to keep the strokes consistent. I picked FontForge over the paid option because I wanted to learn the workflow without spending $60 first. The learning curve was rough for about two weekends, but now I can tweak a curve and export all 24 icons in one pass. Has anyone else hit a point where the tool swap felt like losing control before it gave you time back? My main worry now is kerning, that still feels like black magic to me.
