Saw a hand-painted shop sign in Lisbon that made me fix my SVG stroke widths
I was walking through Alfama last month and the sign painter was using a tiny 3px brush for the letter edges while the fill was way thicker, and it hit me that I was doing the opposite in my icon set. Switched my 2px strokes to 1.5px on the outer paths and the icons stopped looking muddy at small sizes. Has anyone else pulled stroke weight tricks straight from sign painting?
