We got coffee after the font meetup near Capitol Hill and he pulled up his grid on a laptop. Turns out he builds icons by snapping to a 2px grid and reusing the same curve command over and over, so a whole set is maybe 15 lines. I opened my own file when I got home and my bell icon alone had 62 anchor points doing nothing. Spent an hour cutting it down to 9 and it looks cleaner at small sizes now. How many points are you all averaging per icon before you call it done?
