The concrete truck showed up 4 hours early on a Friday and my whole crew was still at the diner
Got the call at 6am that the pour was happening NOW, not at 10 like the schedule said. Half my guys were eating pancakes at the diner on Route 9 and the driver just sat there tapping his wheel while I tried to flag down anyone with a truck. We still hit our 200 yard pour by noon but I aged about 5 years in one morning. Does anyone else get surprise schedule changes from their ready mix plant or is it just mine?
