Switched from paper logs to a digital app for site inspections, way less headaches now

I used to carry around a clipboard with printed checklists for every job site visit, but after I lost a whole week's worth of notes in the rain on a project in Phoenix last summer, I finally gave BuilderTrend a try. Now I just snap photos and mark things off on my phone, and the office gets the report instantly without me having to scan anything. It took me like 2 days to get used to it but now I can't imagine going back. Has anyone else had trouble getting their older crew to switch over to this stuff?

I showed my 58 year old foreman how to use it and now he takes three photos instead of typing anything.

three photos instead of typing anything" - that's WILD to me. I can't believe he'd rather snap multiple pics than just write one sentence. That's a whole new level of avoiding the keyboard.
