Spent $2,800 on a used excavator grapple and it paid for itself in 2 months on one job

Went back and forth for like a year on getting a grapple for my mini ex. Kept thinking I could just keep using the thumb and be fine. Then I took a demo job clearing brush on a 3 acre lot in Cherry Hill. Took me 3 days with just the thumb. Rented a grapple for the next job and knocked it out in 6 hours. Bought a used one off a guy on Facebook Marketplace that same week. Best money I ever spent on a single attachment. Has anyone else had a tool that felt like a luxury but turned out to be a necessity?

Wait, you got a used grapple for $2,800 that paid for itself in two months? That's seriously impressive, and I totally get the whole luxury turned necessity thing lol.
