Noticed a reused beam in a 1920s warehouse in Portland and felt dumb
Tbh I walked through a renovation last month and saw a steel I-beam stamped 1923 still holding up a new mezzanine, so why do I keep buying new lumber for temporary shoring when the old stuff has already proven itself?
