Just hit 500 consecutive days with no lost time accidents on my site

I've been running a medium-sized commercial project in Charlotte for the last 18 months and we crossed 500 days without a lost time injury yesterday. That includes over 80 subcontractors coming and going through framing, MEP rough-in, and now finishing work. The milestone surprised me because I figured someone would have gotten banged up by now with all the different trades sharing the same space. Is there a specific safety program that's actually worked for your crews long term?

Holy smokes, 500 days is incredible! I honestly can't believe you made it that far with 80 subs on site. That many different trades bumping into each other is a recipe for trouble in my experience, so you guys must be doing something right. Did you have any close calls or near misses that almost broke the streak? I'm asking because we usually get tripped up around the 200 day mark, and I'm always looking for what keeps a site safe long term. I think the smaller subcontractors are the hardest to get on board with any program, so how did you keep them all playing by the same rules?

Wait, 500 days with 80 subs and no breaks? That's insane... I don't think I've ever even heard of a streak that long on a site that size. Seriously, how do you not have a near miss every other week with that many people underfoot?
