Finally gave in and tried Procore after months of pushback from my crew

I was dead set against it, figured it was just another monthly fee eating into profits, but after a 3-day free trial on a job in Phoenix last month I actually saw our RFI turnaround drop from like 4 days to 12 hours. Anyone else have a software tool they swore off but ended up keeping?

Dude same with our project management software, I hated it until we saw the actual savings.

You ever have one of those things where you hate it just because you hate change? I was the same way with a digital tape measure app my crew kept pushing. Said it was just another thing to charge on the work phone. But after we used it on a tricky kitchen remodel where the old tape kept slipping and we had to re-cut three times, I finally caved. Now I won't let anyone touch a physical tape for layout stuff. Sometimes you just gotta admit the new thing works better than your stubborn self.

At the end of the day it's a construction tool not life support, a 3 day trial barely tells you if it'll hold up when things go sideways.
