Why does nobody talk about what happened at the Denver airport baggage claim?

I was stuck there for 3 hours waiting on a flight connection back in 2019, and the carousel kept stopping for no reason. A guy in an orange vest came out and whispered to the supervisor, then they both just walked off without explaining anything. The screens switched to a weird blue screen with a logo I'd never seen before, not the airline or the airport. Everyone shrugged it off, but I started checking my bags for tampering after that, and sure enough one zipper was half open. Has anyone else had weird stuff happen at that specific baggage claim, or am I the only one who noticed?
