Why does nobody talk about how weird the lighting is at the Denver Airport?

I drove through Denver last month on a road trip and stopped at the airport just to see what the fuss was about with all the conspiracy stuff. The murals are creepy sure but what got me was the lighting in the main hall. It changes color slowly over like 10 minutes from warm yellow to almost blue, then back again. I sat there for 20 minutes watching it shift and nobody around me seemed to notice or care. There's some old plaque nearby that says the pattern matches a celestial alignment from 1992 which is just odd. Has anyone else stood there long enough to see this or am I just reading too much into bad design choices?

Hung out at the baggage claim on a layover a few years back and noticed the same thing - thought I was having a stroke or the taco truck had given me bad sauce or something (you know, classic airport paranoia). The shift from warm to cool light made me feel like I was in some weird science experiment where they're testing how long it takes for travelers to lose their minds. I actually timed it on my phone and yep, it cycles every 9-10 minutes just like you said. Never saw the plaque about 1992 though, that's some next level weirdness that makes me wonder if I should have stayed longer instead of running to my gate like a normal person.

@christophermurray you gotta check out the hidden room off the baggage claim if you go back. the plaque is on the wall behind the pillar near carousel 3, i stumbled on it when my flight got delayed 6 hours and i ran out of things to do. bring a flashlight cause that hallway is dark and the lights flicker weird. someone told me it was part of some 90s art installation but nobody can give me a straight answer on what it actually is.
