TIL my neighbor's Ring camera 'glitch' at 3am was just a spider web, and I feel dumb
My neighbor in Reno swore her Ring cam kept glitching around 3am showing these drifting lights, so she dragged me into a two week spiral about drones and secret testing. I finally climbed up there, and a spider had built a web right over the lens, which made the IR bounce around like UFOs. Thirty seconds with a broom and the "surveillance" stopped for good. Now I'm wondering how many other spooky clips online are just bugs or bad weather, what's the lamest explanation you've found for something you thought was a real cover up?
