Thought controlled voting machines were a myth until I saw one in Atlanta
I went to a county election board meeting in Atlanta back in 2018 as a skeptic. A technician showed us a Dominion machine that had been pulled for tampering - the serial number was off by one digit from the factory records. What finally got me was watching him run a test where the machine added 40 votes to a candidate with no one touching it. Has anyone else seen something like this firsthand?

Did that machine get quarantined or put right back into service?

Yeah that's exactly what I was wondering too. @vera_roberts I've seen places do both based on how bad the contamination was and what the machine cost to replace. If it was just a spill or a small leak they usually clean it and put it right back to work within a day. But if the hydraulic fluid got into the electronics or the sensor array that thing is toast. Too much risk of it failing at a bad time and causing a bigger wreck.
